I remember how we met
but your name I forget
like the door that I have kept unopened

I remember it was wet
and the swelt and the sweat
and the shelter of the bed we slept on

You were stroking me like a pet
but you didn’t own me yet
and the tape in the cassette deck was choking
Spat out a broken hallelujah

But I’ve seen the way the earth
throws its aces with a curve
You were waiting for the words
to come to yer.

Just to say that you prefer to be lonely
to be cursed
and to do the very worst you can do.

Yeah I remember you like a verse
that I didn’t want to learn
I just looked into your eyes
and I knew yer.

Now the thought of you is burnt
on my body from the first time you did rewind that line from Hallelujah.
The original Leonard Cohen version.

Well I wish I never met you that day
You said I have a room and music to play
I have a room let me show you the way
I wish that I’d never come

But now that I have, I would do it again
I would forget that I’d piss on a grave

I would forget that I’d piss on a grave
and the words as they came to my tongue were hallelujah. Hallelujah!
And the sky was so much bluer
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And the world was so much newer.

You said I have a room
at the top of the stairs
I have a room with a view
I know we all have a cross that we bear
and I’d like to show it to you.

And you left me in the light
and you met me in the light
and we only had a night between the two.

You were waiting for the worst
You were listening for a curse
but the only thing I heard was hallelujah.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And the sky was so much bluer
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And the world was so much newer.

you said I have a room
at the top of the stairs.
I have a room with a view.
I know we all have a cross that we bear
and I’d like to give it to you.

And I won’t forget how the sky was set
I said I have a place to go back to.
La La La I will have you yet
I will carry you there if I have to.

No I won’t forget no I won’t.
No I won’t forget no I won’t
No I won’t forget no I won’t
No I won’t forget no.

Woah. Woah. Woah. W-o-o-o-ah.
First love.

Saw and didn’t say hi became a confession, what nonsense! big bully.

It’s closing time and it’s getting late
Can you fetch my coat cos I don’t feel too great, anymore
But I want to stay, don’t you want to stay as well
I don’t think that you do
I’ve got this funny feeling that you don’t feel like I do
This conversations just passing you by
I know it I can see it in your eyes

You’ve had one too many, low and behold
You’re telling me the secrets that can’t be told
It feels so special, it feels so bold
But then you knock me back and I fall
I fall to the floor
And all I wanted was a kiss
And all I wanted was a chance tonight

I’m walking home
Half pissed and half frozen
My minds made warmer by the little token of you, and your little ways
Still they’re sleeping in your bed today
And now beeps the phone
I fumble round to answer but I end up putting it on hold
Late night taxis keep passing me by
I fell sick and look to the sky

I’ve had one too many, low and behold
The late night lovers stay out in the cold
I ring your number I feel so bold
You kick me into touch and I fall
I fall to the floor

And all I wanted was a kiss
And all I wanted was a chance tonight
But yeah your ignorance was bliss
Yeah your ignorance was paradise
Just give me a chance
Just give me a sign or something to tell me what you want
Cos before too long they’ll be somebody else
It’s then that you’ll know that your wanted more
You call out my name but I fail to respond
Oh it knocks you back and you fall
You fall to the floor

You’re not just a number upon a computer or a waiting list
You’re not just a number upon a computer or a shopping list

I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I don’t live in poverty, I got a little bit of money
And I’ve got a healthy body
I’m not going to let stuff get me upset
And I won’t let all the little things get me depressed

When I was a young boy I got a stereo
And I taped all the songs straight off the radio
The sounds that the bands made, and the melodies
Was all I need to make me feel free

Sometimes you get so low, you don’t know why
Or a little upset all inside
May I remind you? That you don’t live in poverty
You got your youth, and you got food in your belly

I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better
I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I don’t live in poverty, I got a little bit of money
And I’ve got a healthy body
I’m not going to let stuff get me upset
And I won’t let all the little things get me depressed

When I was a young boy I got a stereo
And I taped all the songs straight off the radio
The sounds that the bands made, and the melodies
Was all I need to make me feel free

Sometimes you get so low, you don’t know why
Or a little upset all inside
May I remind you? That you don’t live in poverty
You got your youth, you got a roof over your head

I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better
I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I’ll set up a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better
I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

So you better get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better
I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

So you better get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better
I can get a record player, and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

Peoople do well in something because it’s their strength or because they’re good in that?

I was walkin’ through the city streets
and a man walks up to me and hands me the latest energy drink
Run faster. Jump Higher.
Man, I’m not gonna let you poison me.

I threw it on the ground!
You must think I’m a joke!
I ain’t gonna be part of this system!
Man, pump that garbage in another man’s veins!

I go to my favorite hot dog stand
and the dude says, “you come here all the time! Here’s one for free.”
I said, “Man, what I look like, a charity case?”

I took it, and threw it on the ground!
I don’t need your handouts!
I’m an adult!
Please, you can’t buy me hot dog man!

At the farmer’s market with my so-called “girlfriend”
She hands me her cellphone, says it’s my dad.
Man, this ain’t my dad. This is a cellphone!

I threw it on the ground!
What you think I’m stupid?
I’m not a part of this system!
My dad’s not a phone! Duh!

Some poser hands me a cake at a birthday party
What you want me to do with this, eat it?

Happy birthday to the ground!
I threw the rest of the cake too!
Welcome to the real world, jackass!

So many things to throw on the ground
Like this, and this, and this and that. And even this.
I’m an adult!

Two Hollywood phonys trying to give me their autograph.
Ground! Nobody wants your autograph! Phonys!

Then the two artists got up. Turns out they had a taser.
And they tased me in the butt hole.
I fell to the ground.
The phonys didn’t let up.
Tasing on my butt hole, over and over.
I was screaming and squirming
My butt hole was on fire!

The moral of this story is: you can’t trust the system!

Man!

My Friend

02Oct09

My friend I stand in Judgment now
And feel that you’ve to blame somehow
On earth I walked with you day by day
And never did you point the Way

You knew the LORD in Truth and glory
But never did you tell me the Story
My knowledge then was very dim
You could have led me safe to Him

Though we lived together on the earth
You never told me of the second birth
And now, I stand this day condemned
Because you failed to mentioned him

You taught me many things, that’s true
I called you friend and trusted you
But I learn now it’s too late
You could have kept me from this fate

We walked by day and talked by night
And yet you showed me not the light
You let me live and love and die
You know I never lived on high

Yes, I called you friend in life
And trusted you through joy and strife
And yet on coming to this dreadful end
I cannot now call you my friend.

Now here’s the story of my life,
I’ve had fun but lots of strife,
For I was born left-handed, but I’m proud
To be one of the elite, right-handers we can beat
We’re the 10% that stand out from the crowd!

But as a little lad, oh the problems that I had
Winding clockwork toys was just a mystery
Tying laces was a pain, couldn’t get it in my brain
Everything was back-to-front it seemed to me

Chorus
We’re the Cack-Handed Kings, we’re the LEFTIES
You right-handers just haven’t got a clue
‘Cos if you’d been through what we’ve been through
Then maybe you would feel superior too!

At 5 I started school where I was treated like a fool
Being left-handed I stood out from the pack
And learning how to write was not a struggle – more a fight
For I had my left hand tied behind my back

“Now get it in your head” the sympathetic teacher said
“You use the right and not the Devil’s side”
Those supposed men of vision caused me pain and such derision
Is it any wonder often times I cried?

We’re the Gibble Fisted Friends, we’re the LEFTIES (repeat chorus)

Time then came when my voice dropped
And my face was one big spot
But I was glad to see my teenage years arrive,
Because I use my left, I was different from the rest
And the girls saw me as something of a prize!

I learned some handy tricks in the back row of the flicks
It used to drive my girlfriends all berserk
For their eyes would keep apace of my right hand – just in case
And they never saw my left one go to work!

We’re the Southpawed Princes, we’re the LEFTIES (repeat chorus)

Well I’m married now, worst luck
But my wife has given up
Asking me to help with chores like peeling spuds,
Or trying to cut the bread, I’ll get a 4 x 2″ wedge
Lose three fingertips and half a pint of blood

I would love to be a dad, but we’ve hit a little snag
If you can help please tell us what to do
The problem simply said, is that I’m a left-hand thread
But my wife you see, now she’s a right-hand …..OH, YES WE’RE THE

Scrummy-Handed Heroes, we’re the LEFTIES (repeat chorus)

Now we reach today, where you stand and watch me play
And yes, I play right-handed it is true
For the very simple fact is that I’ve had to adapt
Something all we southpaws have to try and do

We have trouble tying ties, writing cheques out, using knives
and scissors made for use in your right hand
And when it comes to sport once again we are left short
In hockey and in polo we are banned

We’re the Cuddy Wifter Winners, we’re the LEFTIES (repeat chorus)

Now I’ve finished off my song and as you move along
Please bear in mind the things I’ve had to say
And please show some respect for your friends who use the left
Thanks for listening to me this Left-Handers Day.

Someone pointed out to me regarding my studies..  because I didn’t do well again, and my perspective of studies was not that right and so he mentioned to me about seeking God to have this desire to do well for His glory, and only could be made possible through seeking God through His Word and Prayer.

“God is God. If he wills something, it will happen. If he wills to do a new thing in your life, which he is doing in all our lives, it will happen. However, if that is not your desire, then he will only give you the blessing when you decide to allow Him to accomplish this work in you.

He will not force his will upon you if you do not desire it.

Only when you have the desire, then God can work this change within you. In the end, it is still God who moulds you.

You have to pray for this desire, it cannot be man-made. It is a desire for holiness which comes from understanding the revelation of God through the Word and prayer.

if you read the bible as mere words written by a human hand, it will be boring and mean nothing to you but if you read the bible knowing that it is the breath of God, with the understanding and revelation given by the Holy Spirit and only through the Spirit. suddenly you will realise that this is a living God.

This is what happened on the road to Emmaus. The two men were kept from knowing the revelation of God, only until the person of Jesus explained to them the things of God, did they understand, they knew of those things, but they did not understand until Jesus explained it to them without relationship with Jesus, we will never understand.

but when we truly know Christ, not know of, know about, but KNOW CHRIST, we will understand through the Holy Spirit.

In Christ, all problems are solved, when the root is solved, all other issues, minor and major are non-issues.

what is the root?

-Sin

-Satan

-Hell

-Root problems

What are the root solutions?

-Christ

As true priest, true King, true prophet. With Christ as priest. The curse of sin is wiped away. You do not have to live in sin and curse anymore, but blessing as a child of God. You do not have to live with Satan controlling you as king, but Christ in control of you. down to the very last detail. down to your studies, down to how you live your life with heaven as your final hope, there is nothing to be anxious about, you have an eternal perspective.”
